Are you dedicated to making sure content and communications get in front of the right audiences, on the right channels at the right time? Get engaged contacts for the next steps in our global go-to-market strategy.

About the Job

Who we are

We are a leading provider of high-performance, low-latency hosting through a vast, privately-owned global network. As game sector veterans, we know what it takes for a network to withstand heavy demands, and as of 2019 we are a member of the Ubisoft family. During these uncertain times, we have continued to expand faster than ever, keeping some of the world’s biggest games and VoIP providers online, and their users connected.

Your role

We serve many different segments, all using their own specific channels. These channels can range from various nurture flows within our HubSpot database, Internal Ubisoft Tools for our Ubisoft colleagues, all the way to Social Media to reach new Gaming, Enterprise, and VoIP customers. We expect you to own these channels, and make sure the right content gets in front of the right people, on the right channel at the right time. You will be working together with our lead marketer on nurture flows and with our content marketer to get the right content out into the world.

Work expectations

Don’t expect any day to be the same in this role. You are free to seize the opportunity to broaden or strengthen any area of expertise, whether that’s by proposing specific projects or taking advantage of our unlimited education fund. You can make the role your own.

Within the team we work according to the principle that everyone in the team is an expert in their role, yet the entire team helps each other to strive towards our shared goal: Serving 1 BILLION users (yes, little bald guy with his pinky up) by 2025. That means that work closely together with your direct colleagues, own what is within your expertise and provide assistance to make sure we all get ahead.

Work environment

You will be joining a young, fun and ambitious Product & Marketing department. Working during the pandemic is a challenge, but we can proudly say we have met that challenge head-on. Despite the distance, we can collaborate, bond, and get you settled. You’ll also have the freedom to structure your days, work times, and environment. If you feel safer working from home, take advantage of our budget for your home office equipment. Alternatively, feel free to use our Rotterdam office, including the fully equipped gym, kitchen, and gaming room (whilst complying with social distancing measures, of course).

Your Responsibilities

  • Share our kick-ass content with the right people, on the right channel at the right time.
  • Assist our content-marketer in picking out quotes, main headlines and other deliverables from our content to realize communications that resonate with our audiences.
  • Create and manage highly engaging social media posts.
  • Re-write minor pieces of existing content to better fit a specific audience.
  • Work closely with our lead marketer to make sure we get the most out of all our (online) distribution channels, nurture flows and marketing automation.
  • Internal communications: collecting information throughout departments and aligning our direct and indirect colleagues on what is happening, plus making sure our colleagues at Ubisoft Studios around the world are aware how we can help achieve their goals.
  • Research, execute, and learn how we can best reach our segments.

Your Skills

  • Bachelor degree in marketing, commercial economics or communication.
  • 2-5 years of experience in a marketing and/or communication role preferably in a high-technical organization.
  • Experience with HubSpot, Marketing Automation, E-mail marketing and Social Media Tools.
  • Entrepreneurial, self starting individual.
  • Creative thinker, always finds a way to get things done.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and Dutch.
  • Highly organized with excellent communication skills.
  • Strong adaptable and hands-on approach to anticipate to surprises and provide solutions.

What we do

Low latency is our mission! In 2002 we set out to improve online experiences for gamers. Today, we translate our hosting innovations to various industries, but gaming is still in our DNA. And as of 2019, we are part of the Ubisoft family! We build out our network presence in data centers across the globe – from Moscow to Mumbai, Amsterdam to Seattle, and everything in between – bringing content closer to the users.

Our team works hard on everything related to running our privately owned premium network, from opening new points-of-presence, setting up peering relationships, developing integral products like anti-DDoS protection, and serving our customers with expert help and advice. Finally, we play even harder, in our office gym and bar, and with our lifetime access to Ubisoft games.

What do we offer you?

  • A challenging and dynamic job in an international company
  • A competitive salary (depending on education, knowledge and experience)
  • 25 vacation days (excluding national holidays)
  • Travel allowance
  • Collective pension scheme
  • All the hardware and software you need to perform, including a laptop
  • Career guidance including remuneration of relevant education, courses and trainings
  • A modern office in a prime location with open workplaces
  • Free access to the U-play environment of Ubisoft
  • Free use of the in-house gym
