About the Job

Who we are

We are a leading provider of high-performance, low-latency hosting through a vast, privately-owned global network. As game sector veterans, we know what it takes for a network to withstand heavy demands. Now we’re growing faster than ever, keeping some of the world’s biggest games and WebRTC services online, and their users connected.

The role

We are a fast-paced growing company and doubled our revenue and quadruped our profitability last year. We are very ambitious, aim for 30% growth year on year, are profitable with solid financials since the founding of the company. Through our solid cashflow we are able to make large investments in our global hosting and software platform, opening new locations around the globe every month and are active in 22 countries. As a result there is a need for more in depth management information.

This is a very broad and hands on role, where you will be supervising the finance team (2 fte), work on the monthly closings with the team and prepare the consolidated monthly reports for our shareholder. You will make sure the accounting is solid and compliant with IFRS and look for (efficiency) improvements for all aspects of the finance function. Prepare in depth management reports for our board of directors, create dashboards for our most important KPI’s to track our performance against budget and last year and profitability development during the year. You will also be responsible for assuring completeness of revenue. You will be reporting to our CFO and will be part of the Management Team where you will act as the financial conscience of the company. You will be responsible for preparing solid business cases based on the input from the MT (new projects/products) and based on your reports DT can make balanced decisions. Preparing the annual budget and quarterly forecasts will also be an important part of your role.

About you

At our company, who you are is just as important as what you can do. You’ll be a hands-on self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit. You can plan your own work and interconnect with a multitude of people and departments in the company. You have both strong analytical and communication skills and have the ability to present developments and trends in a clear way. You can distinguish between main and side topics but are also able to go into detail when required. Most importantly, you’re a team player who can stand your ground in a fast-paced but fun working environment. You have at least 5 years of experience as a financial or business controller, preferably in a hosting company.

Work environment

Working during the pandemic is a challenge, but we can proudly say we have met that challenge head-on. Despite the distance, we can collaborate, bond, and get you settled. You’ll also have the freedom to structure your days, work times, and environment. If you feel safer working from home, take advantage of our budget for your home office equipment. Alternatively, feel free to use our Rotterdam office, including the fully equipped gym, kitchen, and gaming room (whilst complying with social distancing measures, of course).
