We are a telecommunications scale-up founded in 2014 in the Netherlands. We offer a SaaS telephony platform that revolutionises the way freelancers and small businesses communicate.

About the role:
Our current mobile iOS & Android apps are native apps built using Swift & Java. Designing 2 apps and maintaining 2 codebases doesn’t match with our “fail often, fail fast” principle. Your job will be to build a new React Native app from the ground up, consolidate 2 codebases into 1 and work with the Product Owner and Designer to standardize the UI/UX across both platforms. You will ensure the quality of the app by writing automated tests, setup a CD/CI workflow and preemptive monitoring.
About the location:
We are opening a new Engineering office in Barcelona! After growing our team from 2 to 11 people in just a couple of years, it’s now time to spread our wings and look beyond our borders. Barcelona has been chosen as location to further expand our Engineering team because we think it’s hot tech scene is a perfect match for us. To ensure team synergy and to integrate new hires into our current team, employees will have the option to travel between Barcelona and Rotterdam on a regular basis.
As a React Native Developer, you will:
- be part of a multidisciplinary team that ships great, intuitive software and knows what they’re doing
- take technical ownership of your product
- build a new React Native app from the ground up
- use a data-driven approach to suggest tweaks, improvements, and optimisations
- implement a Test Driven Development approach
For this role, we need you to have:
- a solid understanding of JavaScript
- +/- 2 years of experience building React Native apps
- experience with REST API’s
- a good level of English (both spoken and written)
It would be nice if you have:
- a related bachelor’s degree
- experience with websockets
- experience with automated testing
- experience with push notifications
- experience with Play Store / App Store workflows
- experience with CI/CD workflows for mobile apps
