In our team we are looking for a colleague who likes to work on the Middleware layer. We hope that you are passionate about databases and applications in (private, i.e. our VMware ESX) cloud environments.  We hope you enjoy a variety of environments within middleware and associated infrastructure. If this describes you then come and talk to team Yellow! We set up and maintain cloud environments and strive to have no down time. We accomplish this by taking ownership and automate and virtualize as much as possible. Our engineers are all-rounders with their own specialism within the (private) cloud field. You would be an all-round engineer, mainly focusing on Linux. You migrate, maintain & deploy solutions in a (private) cloud environment and advise our clients (of which you are possibly the lead engineer) for improvements in the areas of security, reliability and performance. Together with your team you use pro active management and you make sure that the technical requests of the customers are treated in the best possible way. You will make smart use of automation wherever possible. The analysis of complex incidents/problems belongs to your tasks as well, but you like to break seal on this. You’ll do everything possible to prevent incidents by identifying potential problems and closely monitoring all environments.
