Client-Side Encryption Added to Gmail and Calendar

Google has added client-side encryption support to more products in its Workspace suite, reports Alessandro Mascellino.

The security feature, which was already available on Google Drive, Docs, Slides, Sheets, and Meet, is now supported in Gmail and Calendar, too.

The move “will facilitate compliance procedures for private and public sector organizations,” Mascellino notes.
