The new read-replica in geo-paired region feature allows you to replicate your data from an instance of Azure Database for MySQL – Flexible Server to a read-only server in geo-paired region. You can use the geo-paired replicas for serving read-only traffic and to provide protection from regional disasters by making use of Azure paired region for disaster recovery.
