To make it easier to adapt to changing traffic demands, auto-scaling capabilities in Azure App Service are now available (in Public Preview) in the Azure Portal.
This gives you an additional way to utilize the autoscale feature in App Service. Simply configure parameters for maximum and minimum instances, then App Service will automatically scale instances up and down based on incoming HTTP requests and real-time sampling of the load on your web apps.
