The Azure Cosmos DB change feed now has a new mode, all versions and deletes. This mode provides a record of changes to items from create, update, and delete requests. You will get a record of each change to items in the order that it occurred, including intermediate changes to an item between change feed reads. To read from the change feed in all versions and deletes mode, you must have continuous backups configured for your Azure Cosmos DB account. Configuring continuous backups automatically creates Azure Cosmos DB’s all versions and deletes change log, which is now exposed through the change feed APIs. In this mode, you will only be able to read changes that occurred within the continuous backup period configured for the account.
