Users can utilize either the Exports API or the Azure portal to create recurring tasks for the automatic export of cost data in CSV format. This can be scheduled on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis, and the exported data can be used for the creation of dashboards or integration with financial systems.
To ensure security and compliance, exports can be configured to storage accounts behind a firewall. The Azure storage firewall provides access control for the public endpoint of the storage account while permitting trusted Azure platform services to access it.
