Now, you can use DMS to perform migrations either from the Azure Portal, or ADS extension (Azure SQL Migration), or Azure PowerShell/CLI.
The Azure Portal experience will allow you to perform the following tasks:

Like DMS (classic), you can now create a new Database Migration Service from Azure Portal.

Start migration from SQL Server on-premises to the following Azure targets:
– Azure SQL Managed Instance (Offline / Online)
– Azure SQL Virtual Machine (Offline / Online)
– Azure SQL Database (Offline)
