Task authentication token is an Azure Batch-only authentication feature that allows specific tasks to perform batch service operations on their job without requiring full account access credentials. Issuance and acceptance of this token will be retired and customers using this feature should instead leverage pool level user-assigned managed identity

From now to 30 September 2024, you can continue to use Azure Batch task authentication token without disruption. After that, this feature will no longer function.

Required action

Stop using Azure Batch task authentication token and switch to use pool level user-assigned managed identity by 30 September 2024.
