GitHub is creating a private community for open source software maintainers, which will allow them to more easily connect with peers and share best practices.

If you’re an open source maintainer, you can request an invitation to the private Maintainer Community on GitHub, which offers:

  • Invitations to private maintainer events
  • Early access to betas and previews
  • Regular workshops to discuss and collaborate on open source best practices

The Maintainer Community is a private part of the public GitHub Community. Learn more at GitHub and check out the activities coming up in Maintainer Month this May.
