The Raspberry Pi Foundation is inviting users to beta test its new Code Editor.

The online text-based Code Editor is aimed at helping young people ages 7 and up learn to code, says Phil Howell in the announcement. “It’s free and designed for young people who attend Code Clubs and CoderDojos, students in schools, and learners at home.”

With the Code Editor, users can “write and run Python code right in their browser, with no setup required.” You can now test the Code Editor through the “Intro to Python” path and provide feedback to help shape future development of the tool.
