Azure Functions support for Python 3.8 is ending on 14 October 2024, alongside end of Python 3.8 community support.

Required Action

Applications that are hosted on Functions can be deployed and will continue to run, but we’ll no longer provide updates or customer service for Python 3.8. To avoid any service disruption and potential security vulnerabilities in your applications, we recommend you upgrade to Python 3.9 or later, and then follow the steps to update your applications settings before 14 October 2024.

Help and support
