These applications choose to integrate with AppFabric so their customers can benefit from capabilities like fully-managed integrations, normalized SaaS audit logs, and more. Additionally, AppFabric creates co-marketing opportunities for applications integrated with the service.
An application can choose to integrate with AWS AppFabric as a data source, data destination, or both. Typical examples of data sources are productivity and functional SaaS applications like Identity Providers and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools. Data destinations are security, analytics, or search tools used to analyze audit logs.
