The team
Here we have a team that specialises in the provision and support of Microsoft services. They work together in multidisciplinary teams: Cloud Infra & Apps, Modern Workspace (Citrix, Ivanti and Liquidware), Security and Managed Services. We have observed a rise in the demand for our expertise and services, which is why we wish to expand our team with a Microsoft Support Consultant.
Job description
This concerns a position on the Microsoft Support Team operating from Utrecht in the Netherlands. Your job will consist of a variety of tasks and you are keen to engage in the following:
- continuous optimisation of the IT environments we manage at our customers;
- actively securing and independently executing new projects;
- provision of 2nd and 3rd line support for our managed customers;
- active involvement in securing and managing new customers;
- computerisation of your own work activities with PowerShell or additional tooling;
- arranging management and security aspects.
Job requirements
Our ideal candidate will meet the following job requirements
- experience with Microsoft products Windows Server, Hyper-V, SQL Server, Clustering, Exchange, Skype and SCCM;
- experience with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, also in combination with Ivanti;
- experience with Microsoft Azure and Office365;
- prepared to be on stand-by duty once every 5 weeks;
- familiar with ITIL and project-based working.
Besides this, we require good communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude. The candidate feels right at home in a dynamic environment and enjoys working on different projects. A brief description of your personality includes characteristics like social, motivated, good analytical skills, flexible, a team player and eager to learn.
