The snapshots feature of Azure App Configuration makes it easier to deploy configuration changes through a controlled rollout.
As applications move through development environments, snapshots ensure that unexpected changes won’t make it into production, and that Last Known Good configurations are available for rollback if required. This reduces the risk that faulty configuration changes cause service disruptions or data loss.
A snapshot is an immutable set of key-values from an App Configuration store, created using key and label filters. These key-values are guaranteed to remain unchanged, ensuring that you can deploy configuration changes in a controlled and consistent manner.
