Log alerts are a type of alert that you can use in Azure Monitor. They let you run a log analytics query on your resources logs at a regular interval and trigger an alert based on the results.
You can choose to make your log alerts stateful or stateless. This feature is currently in preview and will become generally available in May.
Stateful log alerts will automatically resolve when the alert condition is no longer true. This can help you reduce alert noise and focus on the issues that need your attention.
Starting from May 1, 2024, you will be charged for stateful log alerts in Azure Monitor. The pricing details for log alert rules are available on the Azure Monitor pricing page.
