AFIBER has released a secure API for our carrier and managed services partners to add the AFIBER network into front- and back-end applications, including our fiber-to-the-office locations in automated pre-sale coverage checks.
With the application protocol interface – API, offering real-time access to AFIBER’s fiber-to-the-office locations aims to help our partners move up the innovation curve, improve workflows and reduce quoting time. Our API is easy to test, implement and manage.
Advantages of using an API instead of static building list or manual coverage check:
- Automation: automated systems instead of manual processes can manage the work, especially when checking on-net status with multiple fiber providers. Our partners can update work flows to make them quicker and more productive.
- Data access: because the API can exchange data in real time, the delivery of information on your side is more flexible and always up to date. Additional fields and features can be added any point in time.
- Better scope: you can create your own application layer and distribute status of our on-net footprint to existing and new applications to improve pre-sales, network and solution design workload.
